I'm HOME!!

The rest of the Prague trip was a blast!!  Here is another web album  of pictures and comments on each to show what we did.... and man we did a lot!  Jewish area, Castle, Cathedral, a jazz boat ride, Communist Museum, a little shopping, and more! My favorite was the Pinkas Synagogue.... once you get to the pictures, make sure you read the comments if you want to know what you are looking at!! The last day, Sunday, we all were super tired by 4pm and so we went home, packed and relaxed.  It had been nothing but GO GO GO this trip and our feet couldn't take it anymore. The next day Rosie and I flew to New York for the night, and Hans-Eric went back to Sweden. New York was great, except that it was 100 degrees!! HOLY HOT!!  We got pedicures and then just went home and slept!  We stayed at a friends place in Manhattan.  Thanks Courtney!! Up at 4 am, I caught my 5 1/2 hour flight to Seattle, then a 3 hour lay over, then a flight to Juneau.  Linda Hull was on my flight and spoiled m

Prague Day 1

First of all, we have another amazing couch surfing hosts.  Jarda and his wife Caroline are awesome!  They have two young boys, ages 7 and 5 and the 7 year old speaks english.  I call him T because I can't pronounce his name.  I will post some pictures of them soon, but I haven't taken any of them yet. Leaving Naples was crazy!  Our train was late leaving to Rome, and then we were late getting to the airport which was crazy hectic... but we made it and landed in Prague safely!!  Jarda picked us up, and took us to his "Ironman" home!  I'm not kidding.  The key to get into his house is like this electrical blue ball that you rub on the wall and it opens the doors.  It's crazy!  Downstairs he has like 5 cars in this garage that is more like a giant basement.  Then there is 4 stories on top of that!  He owns the Harley Davidson shop, him and his business partner, and they share a nice size garden together.  We have our own room and own bathroom.  I just love couc
