Terry came to see ME!

Last weekend Terry came to town to bless us with his silly and energetic self!  We went bike riding, to a drag show (yes a drag show!), dancing, to the park, napped, watched movies, and just had a good relaxing time.  He brought me 6 or so big bags of Pop's Kettle Corn.... which created chaos in my stomach because I couldn't just eat a few handfuls, but instead had to eat the entire bag!  geez... thanks Terry!  But honestly, no complaints.. I really loved having my brother here to visit.  Only it was too short of a trip (okay, one complaint)!!  I wanted him to stay for another week or so!

Lately I have been wanting to do artsy projects, call myself artsy, and hope people believe I really am... artsy.   Pinteres t has been amazing, in that I can find fun and easy home projects, pin them to my  craft board , and then attack them when I have a free day.  Well today was 'do something creative with a map' day. I have always wanted a world map in my home, but I hate using thumb tacks, and who wants to have a poster continuously falling down because the sticky putty you are using is useless. Day 11! Detox Done Ubud, Bali

11 days, 10 nights, 0 food. 11 lbs lost, 11 friends gained, and a basket full of new knowledge to bring home. People always ask about my experience here, and it isn't something I can put into a few sentences, let alone even finding the right words. Every trip has been different. Every detox a new lesson learned. In order to know what happens here, to understand this process, you have to go through it yourself. And even then, your experience will be totally different than mine. This morning we broke our fast with a lovely bowl of papaya.
