So tomorrow is the day (Saturday the 7th), I am off to Spain!! A 9 hour 50 minute flight to Paris.. then a short 2 and half hours to Malaga, Spain. I arrive on Sunday at 1:10pm, which is 4:43 am Seattle time. Hopefully the nice little purple pill of Ambien will put me soundly to sleep and I will wake up in Paris feeling fresh and ready for my flight to Malaga!
I will be spending four weeks studying Spanish in four different cities. First stop... Malaga, then Cadiz, Seville, and finally Madrid.
How am I feeling? Excited and nervous... a bit scared.... but I like it!! I actually sometimes wonder to myself "Cole, why the hell did you book a trip to a foreign country, ALONE, for an entire MONTH?" Well, I can't answer that. But I do know I sometimes purposely do something I'm not sure of "like book a trip to Spain", in order to MAKE myself go, to challenge myself, get me out of my little shell (condo in Seattle!), and see the world. When I am traveling, it always ends up being the best experiences of my life, for example Costa Rica. Yep, changed my life! We all know how much fun I had flying with Tarzan in the jungle (zip lining), showering with ice cold water and bugs, and dancing the night away with hot tamale Costa Ricans.... now lets see how awesome Spain is.
If you don't hear from me for a bit, that's because I'm stuck in some random little hut in the south of Spain with no access to Internet, or I'm just having too much fun! ;) Keep checking back though... as I will try and blog as much as possible.
